Sri Lanka will take on England in a Super10 Group 1 match of the International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 World Cup 2016 Saturday at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, Delhi.

Defending champions Sri Lanka have to beat England at Kotla in order to keep their semi-final hope alive. England, which hold second place in the Super10 Group 1 behind the West Indies, also faces a must win situation when they take on Sri Lankans on Saturday.

England won two of three Group 1 encounters. They bounced back with two consecutive wins over South Africa and Afghanistan after losing their opening match against the West Indies.

"There is always pressure to perform. We know it's a must-win game but it's been like that since we got here. For us it's ultimately about winning our game, that's all we can worry about because that's the only way we're going to be able to qualify," England's middle order batsman Joe Root said ahead of crucial match against Sri Lanka. "It's T20. It's a complete knock-out from here on in if we want to win it. The pressure is no more than it has been since that second game. It's all about getting over the line."

Sri Lanka, on the other hand, won only one of three WT20 outings. They have a slim chance to make it to semi-final. Sri Lankan opener Dinesh Chandimal admitted that his side is struggling with middle order.

"We are struggling with the middle order. In big games, we don't have the experience. But we need to put our hands up and perform. You cannot always say the team is in transition. We will give it our best shot in the next game," Chandimal said.
