Pakistan, which began its WT20 campaign with a narrow four-run loss against the West Indies, won its second Group B encounter against arch rival and title favorite India at Delhi's Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium on Saturday. Batting first, the hosts made a paltry 96 for seven in twenty overs. The Sana Mir-led Pakistani side was at 77 for six in 16 overs when rain interrupted the match. Pakistan won the game by two runs under the Duckworth Lewis method.

"We have played India a lot and know how well they bat, so it was important to apply pressure from the word go. We succeeded in doing that. Also, since we have won and lost close games in the past, we realized it was also very important to field well. This is the way to go forward," the Pakistan skipper Sana Mir said.

Bangladesh, on the other hand, was knocked out of WT20 with three defeats in a row. The Jahanara Alam-led side suffered its third successive defeat against the West Indies at Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium on Sunday. The Stafanie Taylor-led side scored 148 for four in twenty over and then out-bowled Bangladesh for 99 in the 19th over. Skipper Taylor (40) and Hayley Matthews (42) shared a solid 67-run opening partnership for the West Indies.
