In response to the recent disaster in the Philippines, Kim Kardashian is stepping up to help with a special eBay auction for charity, known as Kims Closet Clothing Store, in which the Kardashian and Jenner family have "opened up their wardrobes to their fans," but only 10 percent of the proceeds will go to the International Medical Corps.

Listings range from $1 to nearly $2,000 for used and brand new designer items including shoes, handbags, tops, jackets and dresses, including items from the The Kardashian Kollection clothing line, most with several bids on them so far from the bidding that began yesterday, Nov. 21. Some items are accompanied by photos of the reality star wearing them at various red carpet events.

"Hi guys, this is a very special auction because a portion of the proceeds of my eBay auction are going to International Medical Corps, a nonprofit organisation that provides critical health services on remote islands where families are struggling to access medical care and basic resources like food, clean drinking water and vital medications," Kardashian wrote on her official website. "The proceeds will go directly to the communities they're serving in the Philippines and will help typhoon survivors get access to medical care and ultimately save lives. My prayers and thoughts are with those affected by the typhoon. Check out my eBay auction here and support those who need our help in the Philippines. Xo."

Kim, Kourtney, Khloe and Kylie and Kendall Jenner all chipped in with donations for the auction.

The death toll from Typhoon Haiyan, which made landfall on six Philippine islands on Nov. 8, has recently jumped to 5,209, CNN reports, the number of injured having mounted to 23,404 with a total of 1,582 people missing. Around three million people have been displaced by the disastrous effects of the storm, and officials are saying that the death toll is likely to keep rising in the coming days and weeks.

Meanwhile, humanitarian organizations and relief operations are in need of continued generosity from the international community.
