Parineeti Chopra has signed on for Yash Raj Films' next project, "Meri Pyaari Bindu." Chopra, who was last seen in 2014's "Kill Dil," will make her singing debut in the film. 

YRF broke the news by sharing a video featuring the actress on its official Twitter account. The video shows the 27-year-old singing one of the film's songs, "Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin," before making the official announcement.

"By the way this is a song from my new film. The director wants me to sing it so I am very excited. After one year, I finally found the script I was waiting for and I have signed my next film. It's a Yash Raj film produced by Maneesh Sharma. The director is a new director Akshay Roy. And I finally get to work with my other singer buddy Ayushmann Khurrana," Chopra says in the video, according to Bollywood Life.

Chopra's co-star Khuranna of "Vicky Donor" fame also took to Twitter to voice his excitement about the new project. "So excited for my new -@yrf announcement Meri Pyaari Bindu with lovely and talented -@ParineetiChopra! Woot," he wrote.
