The Palin family drama continues! It's been two weeks since Bristol Palin welcomed her second child, a daughter named Sailor Grace; however, the mother-of-two has yet to confirm or deny reports that ex-fiancé Dakota Meyer is the father of her newborn.

Bristol Palin may be keeping quiet, but Meyer is speaking out about the baby drama situation. Meyer filed legal documents claiming that he's the biological father and is asking a court for joint legal and physical custody over little Sailor Grace. He is also asking for child support, according to TMZ.

"Dakota L. Meyer hereby files his Complaint for Custody of Minor Child and requests that he be granted joint legal and shared physical custody of the minor child," stated court documents obtained exclusively by Radar Online. The document gives Bristol 20 days to respond to the court's summons.

Well, Sarah Palin has come to the rescue!

During an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight, the former governor of Alaska said that she isn't happy about Meyer's recent claims that he's the biological father of Bristol's second. She stated that Meyer previously said he didn't want anything to do with Bristol's pregnancy or newborn.

"For many months we have been trying to reach out to Dakota Meyer [sic] and he has wanted nothing to do with either Bristol's pregnancy or the baby," Palin told the news outlet. As of now, Sailor Grace's health and wealth is the family's main priority, Pain said, adding that Meyer is just trying to "save face."

A spokesperson for Bristol also took a shot at Meyer, saying, "My values are such that a real American hero doesn't ask for child support."

The former couple called off their engagement in May days before they were set to say "I Do." Bristol, who has a 7-year-old son, Tripp, with ex-boyfriend Levi Johnson, announced in June that she was pregnant with her second child.

Bristol has never opened up about who his daughter's biological father is. Meyer hinted that he was Sailor Grace's father when he posted a photo of the newborn on his Instagram shortly after her birth on Dec. 23, with the caption, "Best Christmas present ever!!! I couldn't be more proud of this little blessing!"

Bristol reportedly does not know where Meyer received the photo he posted, according to Entertainment Tonight.
