Gal Gadot revealed the first official of photo of the upcoming Warner Bros. film "Wonder Woman" on social media on Friday. "Almost 75 years in the making...#WonderWoman is underway," Gadot captioned the picture, which shows her wearing a hooded cloak along with her "Wonder Woman" cuffs and headpiece, standing in front of London's Big Ben, according to The Wrap.

The film, based on the DC Comics' super-heroine, is slated to hit theaters on June 23, 2017, more than 75 years after the Amazon princess made her debut in the comic books in December 1941, according to E!.

The full cast of "Wonder Woman" includes Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, Elena Anaya and Lucy Davis. Gadot will first appear as "Wonder Woman" in the highly anticipated "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," which will be released on March 25, 2016, according to Deadline.

Shooting locations for "Wonder Woman" include the U.K., France and Italy. Patty Jenkins is directing the project with Zack and Deborah Snyder as producers along with Atlas Entertainment's Charles Roven and Richard Suckle. The film's script was penned by Jason Fuchs.
