Daniel Radcliffe still may be the face of the "Harry Potter" franchise, but he will soon turn the reigns over to Eddie Redmayne, who stars in J.K. Rowling's upcoming film "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." The two stories take place more than 70 years apart and while a cameo from Radcliffe probably won't happen, that does not mean the actor is not excited about the upcoming extension to the wizarding world.

"I can barely keep myself in this chair," Radcliffe said of "Fantastic Beasts" to E! News. "Yes, I am very excited but I've also been asked about it a lot, and I don't have any information to give unfortunately."

Radcliffe shared that he had seen the new pictures of Redmayne as Newt and thought "he looks great."

Redmayne has been open in the past about his nervousness to step into the world that Rowling has created.

"The stakes are high because they were so good before," Redmayne said, as HNGN previously reported. "You don't want to screw it up."

"No, I don't think he needs advice, just like enjoy it," Radcliffe said about Redmayne. "I don't think there's anything to live up to as well, especially in a way because it's not like there's original source material which is a very strong narrative. You know the 'Fantastic Beasts' book is really cool...I hope he's just enjoying it."

While Redmayne is certainly feeling the burden of leading a new Rowling franchise, he will have three other actors, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol and Dan Fogler to lean on.

"The assumption is Newt's front and center, but it's a quartet," Redmayne shared. "So that feels like it slightly takes the [pressure] off. At least, that's what I'm telling myself."

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" will be released in theaters on Nov. 18, 2016.
