Eddie Redmayne may be an Academy Award-Winning actor, but he still gets nervous about his roles. Redmayne is set to star in the "Harry Potter" spinoff film "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" as Newt Scamander, a leading Magizoologist in the wizarding world. The film takes place in New York City about 70 years before the events in the "Harry Potter" series.

"The stakes are high because they were so good before," he told E! News at the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of "The Danish Girl." "You don't want to screw it up."

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is based off J.K. Rowling's 2001 book of the same name. The film is going to be directed by David Yates, who also directed the last four "Harry Potter films, "Order of the Phoenix," "Half-Blood Prince," and both parts of the final book, "Deathly Hallows," according to Entertainment Weekly.

"It's a complete privilege for me," Redmayne said. "I love J.K. Rowling. I love the 'Harry Potter' films [and] books so for me this is just the most wondrous gift really."

While Redmaybe may be nervous, he has the blessings of Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe!

"He's awesome. I think it'll be fantastic," Radcliffe said, according to Cosmopolitan. "I'm intrigued to see what they're going to do."

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" began filming in August and is set for release on Nov. 18, 2016.
