Mary-Kate Olsen is having a summer wedding - maybe. The 29-year-old fashion designer and her rumored fiancé, French investment banker Olivier Sarkozy, are planning a summer 2016 wedding in the Hamptons, Us Weekly reported on Wednesday.

"They're leaning toward a June event in the Hamptons," a source told the publication. However, a second source claimed the couple has "changed their [wedding] plans a million times" and "her family can't even keep up."

Olsen and Sarkozy, 46, the managing director and head of global financial services for The Carlyle Group as well as the half brother of former French president Nicolas Sarkozy, have been dating since May 2012. Last year, Sarkozy reportedly presented Olsen with a 4-carat vintage Cartier diamond ring - which reportedly cost $81,250 at a Sotheby's auction.

The couple live in a $13.5 million New York City apartment. Sarkozy's two kids, 13-year-old Julien and 11-year-old Margo, from his previous marriage to Charlotte Bernard, are reportedly on board with their father's martial plans.

"Mary-Kate is funny and sweet. Olivier's friends understand what he sees in her," a source close to Sarkozy told Us Weekly in February. While another insider close to Olsen said, "Mary-Kate's family thinks Olivier is the best thing to happen to her. They love him."

Although the two have never confirmed their engagement publicly, Olsen did confess to Women's Wear Daily that she was having trouble choosing a wedding dress.

"I'm, like, not even there yet," she told WWD in May. "I think it may be a matter of getting five or six or making two or three and being stressed out. That seems kind of far away. We'll take one step at a time."
