The final trailer for the highly anticipated film "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" was released on Monday night and took the Internet by storm! "The Daily Show" host Trevor Noah slammed the #BoycottStarWars movement that started trending online after the trailer premiered during Monday Night Football and described the movement as "intergalactic affirmative action."

"Stop complaining, racists," Noah joked in reference to Episode I, "You had your 'Star Wars' movie already!"

Supporters of the #BoycottStarWars movement said that the new film promoted "white genocide" and objected to the fact that "The Force Awakens" features main characters who are not white males. They also claimed that the film was "pushing a sinister multicultural agenda," according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Noah then went on to explain how views tend to get upset over the race of fictional characters like Rue from "The Hunger Games" and Michale B. Jordan's role of the Human Torch in the summer flop "Fantastic 4."

The new host of "The Daily Show" then consulted with "Senior Fantasy Culture Correspondent" Jordan Klepper about the controversy of casting the African-American actor John Boyega as a storm trooper.

"Science Fiction is powerful because it envisions a future for all of us," Klepper said of Boyega's casting. "It's an allegory for the people we could become. One that encompasses a multitude of voices and perspectives."
