A paramedic from Tennessee left her own wedding so she could rush to the aid of her father and grandparents after they were involved in a car crash. A photo of her heading to the scene of the accident while still in her wedding dress has gone viral, Autoblog reported.

Moments after saying "I do" to her now husband, who is also a paramedic, and making their way to the wedding reception, Sarah Ray, 30, received an emergency call and found out about the accident.

The newlyweds then rushed to the crash site - while still dressed to the nines - to make sure no one was severely injured in the crash. Fortunately for Ray, they did not suffer any major injuries.

Her grandfather was unharmed, while her father sustained minor injuries and her grandmother had to be hospitalized for a short period, the Daily Mail U.K. reported.

Afterwards, Ray's mother took a photo of her walking away from the crash site while still in her wedding dress. The photo was posted on the official Facebook page of Montgomery County, Tennessee, which has since gained more than 15,200 likes and has been shared more than 6,100 times.

People have hailed Ray as a hero, but she thinks that shouldn't be the case.

"It's not heroic. That's just what we do every day, and it was family," Ray said, according to USA Today. "I believe any other first responder would do the same thing. It just happened that I was in a wedding dress."
