Shia LaBeouf was arrested and charged with public intoxication in Austin, Texas on Friday, according to TMZ. The 29-year-old "Transformers" actor, who was in town to attend the Austin City Limits music festival, was outside a bar on 6th Street when he reportedly began acting bizarrely.

LaBeouf reportedly ran down the street and jaywalked in front of police, according to TMZ. The gossip site claimed that the actor appeared either intoxicated or on drugs when he ran down the street.

"The Man Down" star was described as being "was blitzed, out of control and disobeyed police." LaBeouf, who sought treatment for alcohol addiction last year, reportedly ignored police warnings to cease his behavior and was eventually arrested.

In a video obtained by TMZ, the actor was seen being placed in handcuffs and out in the back of a police car. LaBeouf was processed at the Travis County Central Booking Facility. Public intoxication is a misdemeanor charge.

A witness told TMZ that before LaBeouf's arrest the actor and a woman were denied entreaty into a club because they were too intoxicated. The actor "began swearing up a storm and tried forcing himself into the bar but was blocked. He and the woman left and began walking."

After his arrest, LaBeouf posted a cryptic tweet on Twitter Sunday, which read, "I talk, just not to you."
