British actress Melanie Liburd has been added to the cast of the upcoming sixth season of HBO's critically-acclaimed show "Game of Thrones," reported Deadline. Liburd will be the new Red Priestess in town alongside Carice Van Houten's current Red Priestess Melisandre.

Liburd will reportedly play the character Kinvara, according to a leaked audition tape. In the now-deleted video, an actress named Tehmina Sunny read a scene in which the Red Priestess, apparently named Kinvara, visits with Tyrion and Varys in Meereen, reported Watchers on the Wall. During the audition, it appeared that Tyrion and Varys were seeking the her approval and support of Daenerys.

The 27-year-old actress is relatively unknown to American audiences, but appeared in a memorable guest role on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" in 2014, reported the New York Daily News. Her other credits also include "The Grinder," "Strike Back" and "Dracula."

"Game of Thrones," fresh off an Emmy win for Best Outstanding Drama Series, is currently filming its sixth season in multiple locations throughout Europe. It was a very successful Emmy year for the HBO series, which took home 12 trophys for the show's fifth season, including Best Supporting Actor Peter Dinklage.

"Game of Thrones" will return to HBO in the spring of 2016.
