Online shopping just got a lot more affordable. Target is altering its online shopping policy, ensuring customers get the best deal possible, according to CNN. Price matching, which was previously only available in stores, is now going to be available when shopping on Target's website.

Prices will be matched with some of the biggest retailers out there like Walmart, Amazon and Best Buy, according to Fortune. This new policy begins Thursday.

Target also expanded the time period that customers are allowed to bring in products for price matching, raising it from seven days to 14, according to the Chicago Tribune. The company is also expanding the number of stores where prices will be matched. Originally, Target offered to match prices with five other companies and, now, that number has risen to 29.

"These are simple changes, but they mean a lot for our guests," said Jason Goldberger, president of Target, in a statement, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Target is following in the footsteps of its rival Walmart as both gear up for what many are saying will be the busiest holiday season in years, according to Fortune.
