The full length trailer for the upcoming reboot of the longest-running science fiction series in network TV history, "The X-Files," has finally been released and it gives us a lot of tasty clues on what to expect from the show's reincarnation.

Fox's revival of the series will see the return of David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson as Mulder and Scully in the six-episode event series, which will premiere as a two-night event on Jan. 24, according to Just Jared.

"We've never been in more danger," says Mulder as he and Scully - in their never-ending quest for the truth - set off on a brand new adventure that is revisited by some familiar faces (like the Cigarette-Smoking Man and FBI Director Skinner), according to Entertainment Weekly.

The series will not only include stand-alone episodes, but will also include episodes that further the original show's seminal mythology. In the pilot episode, Mulder and Scully investigate the case of a possible alien abductee.
