A judge has delayed hearings in the robbery and murder cases against rap music tycoon Marion "Suge" Knight on Thursday.

Judge Ronald Coen of the Los Angeles Superior Court pushed the hearing back to Oct. 13, after he granted a request for continuance made by the defense.

Additionally, Judge Coen also delayed a pretrial hearing of a murder case against the founder of Death Row Records. He was charged with murder, to which he pleaded not guilty, after he ran over two men outside of a Compton burger stand back in January, killing one, according to the Associated Press.

Knight, along with comedian Katt Williams (real name Micah Sierra Williams), was arrested in October 2014 for stealing a camera belonging to a celebrity photographer a month before and both were charged with one count of robbery.

The mogul had also showed up at a short hearing on Thursday but he did not say a word.

If convicted, there is a chance that Knight will face possible life sentence in either cases because of his criminal history where he was convicted for assault with a deadly weapon and armed robbery, according to Billboard.
