A kitten in poor condition had to be confined at a veterinary clinic so that she could receive treatment.

The kitten had suffered from a disease called diabetic ketoacidosis and hepatic lipidosis. While she was there, her owner brought a picture and hanged it on her cage. But it doesn't stop there.

The picture of a bowtie-wearing cat named Jack had a message at the lower left corner that said: "Get well soon I miss you xoxoxo - Jack."

Why the owner decided to post that picture with the sweet message on it on the kitten's cage remains unclear, but one thing is for certain: that photo may have helped the kitty make a speedy and miraculous recovery.

Reddit user ilmazziere, who posted the pic of the kitten next to the picture and works at the clinic, wrote: "Happy to report that I came into work this morning and she is like a whole different cat! Greatly improved and hopefully [going home] soon!"
