While rod fishing in the Warrior River in Alabama, Jason Frost and his friend Brandon Key spotted an unusual sight. As the friends floated around on their boat, a tiny orange kitten started swimming toward them at full speed, obviously aiming to get onto the boat. Moments later, another kitten was spotted swimming full speed towards the boat as well, according to Mother Nature News.

Looks like the term "catfishing" just got a lot more real.

The remarkable incident was captured in this YouTube video, which clearly showed the two tabby kittens as they made a beeline for the fishermen's boat.

"Never in my life have I seen anything like that," Frost said in the video.

The origin of the kittens is unknown at the moment, but due to the remoteness of the location where the kittens were found, Frost suspects that the kittens were abandoned in the area by a cruel owner, reports The Dodo.

It seems like the kittens' courageous bid for attention paid off really well, as the fishermen were immediately able to give them to a young family who offered to provide them with a forever home. The family's two daughters each wanted a cat, and at the end of the day, the fishermen, the kittens, and the family all slept happy.
