A private plane owned by the Bin Laden family overshot the runway as it was attempting to land at the Blackbushe Airport in Hampshire Friday morning, crashing into a car auction lot and killing four people, including the late Osama Bin Laden's half sister and stepmother.

Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf Al Saud, the Saudi ambassador to Britain, offered his condolences to the Bin Laden family through the embassy's official Twitter account. The Bin Laden family is known as a prominent clan in Saudi with numerous business relations, according to Al Jazeera.

"His royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdul Aziz, the ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United Kingdom, offered his condolences to the sons of the late Mohammed bin Laden and their relations for the grave incident of the crash of the plane carrying members of the family at Balckbushe airport," the ambassador stated in the tweet.

The United Kingdom's Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) has begun an investigation about the incident. The team that was deployed stayed in the crash site until Saturday. Despite the death of everyone on board the plane, Hampshire police has confirmed that there were no one on the ground that got injured because of the accident, according to CNN.

Osama Bin Laden was one among the dozens of children of Mohammed bin Laden, a well-respected man in the Middle East. The Bin Laden clan is known for being very large and spread out around the world.

The actions of Osama Bin Laden however, has made the family's name quite synonymous with the deadly 9/11 attacks. Until recently, HNGN has just covered the story of the former most wanted terrorist's porn stash being tagged as classified.
