Ex-boxing champion Victor Ortiz was arrested at a Kenny Chesney concert this weekend in Pasadena, Calif. for assault with a deadly weapon, People magazine confirmed.

The "deadly weapon" in question was Ortiz's foot and he was arrested after a verbal altercation turned physical. Ortiz allegedly kicked and stomped on the victim while the victim was on the ground, which resulted in the arrest, TMZ reported. Ortiz's brother was also involved in the fight and was arrested as well.

The former WBC Welterweight Champion was later released on $30,000 bail and according to the booking sheet, Ortiz is 5'9" and weighs 160 lbs, which is about 15 pounds heavier than he was for his last fight. The arrest happened at the Rose Bowl.

The former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant made an appearance in the boxing film "Southpaw," which stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Rachel McAdams and 50 Cent. Ortiz's other acting credits include "The Expendables 3."
