A lot of fans of the growing DC Cinematic Universe have been disappointed with the amount of leaked photos and videos depicting the cast of David Ayer's "Suicide Squad" both in costume and in action. But to assure these worried moviegoers that all has not been spoiled, Ayer took to Twitter to say that it is everything we haven't seen yet that is important.

Ayer realizes that these big blockbuster comic book affairs need to have a least a small element of surprise to entertain the die-hard fans out there. It's smart of him to try to instill that with posts like these teasing some awesome unforeseen action. But at the same time, "Suicide Squad" appears to be suffering from more leaks than any other comic book film in recent memory. Fans have been uploading spoiler-heavy content from the streets of Toronto where filming has been underway for some time. These include high-profile cameos of other big names in the DC universe.

Is Ayer being genuine when he says that this is just the tip of the ice berg? Or is he just trying to maintain interest in his film? Here's to hoping it's the former.

"Suicide Squad" is due out on Aug. 5, 2016 while "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" will hit theaters next March.
