Kid Rock Victim of Burglary Attempt, Sends Warning Message: ‘I Am An Avid Hunter… I Will Not Hesitate to Shoot’

Kid Rock is sending a warning to anyone who thinks they can mess with him and get away with it. Recently he was the victim of a burglary attempt and posted a message to any would-be robbers: "I will not hesitate to shoot."

The "All Summer Long" singer posted screenshots of video surveillance of the burglar and the van he used on his website with a warning.

"Thank God I was not on the property at the time of this attempted break in," Rock wrote. "I am an avid hunter and marksman and I will not hesitate to shoot anyone who has myself or family in fear for our lives."

"I take the invasion of my personal space very serious regardless of who you are," he continued. "YES, I do profile people. I am currently profiling any balding white male on crutches driving a white creeper van."

He included a description of the unidentified man as well as a $5,000 reward for any information that would lead to his arrest, the New York Daily News reports.

According to Oakland Police, the man used a white van to smash the gate to the rockers gated driveway. Once he got onto the property he excited the vehicle with a pair of crunches and tried to break into the "Cowboy" singers house. He wasn't able to get inside the house and Kid Rock said he was not home at the time of attempted break-in.

According to the Detroit Free Press, the man , who has still not been identified, was arrested after several tips were called in.

The 43-year-old Independence Township man was arrested at his home and he is expected to be arraigned on Monday. He is currently being held at Oakland County jail and the white van used to enter the property has been impounded.
