Earlier I discussed the possibility of adding a halftime show to "NBA 2K14." I would like to recap and expand on the idea of better presentation. There is a lot more “NBA 2K” could do in that area.

I’ve already discussed the halftime show. It would be nice to see a team of analysts discuss the action before the game, halfway through and at the end. I’m not sure how authentic the halftime show would be. However, 2K has to at least try. The ideal situation would be an agreement with Turner Sports. This would provide the game with good analysis and comedy as E.J., Shaq, Chuck, Kenny and possibly C-Webb would take over the broadcasting duties.

It would also be nice if they could expand the in-game commentary. As great as it is to have Clark, Steve and Kevin Harlan bringing you live action every game, a different team wouldn’t be a bad idea. I’m not saying they should get rid of them. However, the same two or three guys do no broadcast every nationally televised game in the country. Instead of being in the studio, C-Webb could possibly be at the desk with Kevin Harlan….or maybe Marv Albert??

Finally, the pre-game could be a bit different. I’d much rather have at least highlights from the previous season than what was in “NBA 2K13.” In last year’s 2K there was pretty much the same animation before every game with different players inserted into the animation. Inserting highlight’s from Steph Curry’s 55-point performance or Kyrie Irving’s fourth quarter heroics against the Thunder, before the start of a game, would be a much better fit.
