Most older women would love to hear people constantly tell them that they don't look their age. In fact, many women have cosmetic procedures done to appear younger but for one woman she says looking youthful is ruining her life.
Anne Bolton, 47, said people still think she's in her twenties, the Daily Mail reports. Bolton said women always come up to her asking her what her secret is for looking so youthful.
"I've lost count the times people have asked me if I could bottle my secret and sell it," she told the Daily Mail. "I'd be a millionaire if I could."
She said even though people are always complimenting her about looking half her age, it has had a horrible effect on her love life and friendships. She told the newspaper that friends have stopped talking to her because she looks so much younger than them and that past relationships have failed because of all the attention she gets from twenysomething guys. Her first marriage ended because her husband couldn't handle the looks ad stares from young guys and other boyfriends have left because people thought she was their sister or daughter.
She said while everyone else around ages, she still looks so young.
"Everyone wants to look younger but I'm not joking or exaggerating when I say looking young is ruining my life. I would do anything for a few wrinkles t look my age," she said. "Why I have none is a mystery to me but the older I get, the bigger the problem becomes for me. I need someone to invent the reverse of Botox because I'm desperate to look older."
The mother of four said she is so desperate to actually look her age that she is willing to go under the knife and get a cosmetic surgery to make her look older. Her biggest fear, she explained the British news site, is that she will end up lonely because of her looks.
"Because of the way I look I don't feel I fit in anywhere - with the young people, or those my own age. I bring out the bitchy side in women so I'm scared to try to make new friends," she said. "Most women dread [when they get wrinkles] while I am desperate to find just one. But my face and body are totally smooth."
