Lindsay Lohan Broke After IRS Seizure of Bank Accounts

The seizure of all Lindsay Lohan's bank accounts in order to recover more than $230,000 unpaid tax leaves the actress broke.

According to a TMZ report, Lohan's bank accounts have been seized to recover a total of $233,904 in unpaid taxes from 2009 and 2011 and an unspecified amount from 2011.

"I'm very concerned," dad Michael Lohan told the Daily News Monday. "Where is all her money going?"

According to the actress' father, Lohan recently made more than $100,000 to promote the new Mr. Pink energy drink, and that was after she allegedly helped mom Dina Lohan stave off foreclosure on her Long Island home with some $40,000.

"I care about one thing: Lindsay's life," Michael Lohan said. "I know she's drinking again, and that's bad enough. What happens if she goes to jail? They don't detox you in jail. I want her in rehab. I wanted her in rehab six months ago."

A source close to Lohan tells NY Post, "Lindsay is freaking out. And she's doing what she always does, which is to say it's not her fault and point the finger at someone else in her team. She says she didn't know anything about it . . . she's broke and it's not her fault."

"The people hired to take care of it are taking care of it and it will be resolved by the end of the year," another source close to Lohan told the tabloid adding the bank seizure was just part of the "process."

Actor Charlie Sheen recently gave Lohan $100,000 to help cover her unpaid tax. However friends of the actress say she's not very good with money.

"Lindsay is a disaster with money. But she's a hustler and always finds somebody at the last minute to bail her out," a friend tells NY Post.

However, Michael Lohan said that although he is grateful to Sheen for helping his daughter, he points out rehab and not money is what his daughter needs right now.

"It was really generous of him,'' Michael told The Post's Kieran Crowley. "But he should have said, 'I'll give you the money for your taxes if you go into treatment.'"
