Country superstar Shania Twain is about to embark on her final tour, she announced on "Good Morning America" Wednesday.

"This is a very, very important time on the road for me," Twain said. "I just feel like I'm ready to hang my hat up in that regard. I just really want to go out with a bang."

It will be the first tour in 11 years for the Canadian singer behind hits like "Man! I Feel Like A Woman," "You're Still The One" and "That Don't Impress Me Much."

Twain's aptly titled "Rock This Country" tour will begin June 5 in Seattle and cover 48 U.S. and Canadian cities. (Full tour dates are at the bottom of this article).

Twain recently completed a two-year residency in Las Vegas at the Colosseum at Caesar's Palance, and a live CD and DVD of her Vegas show was released Tuesday, "Good Morning America" noted. She told the show the steady gig there was "a huge mountain to climb" and "a lot of work," adding that she relied on Lionel Richie and Gladys Knights for support when she encountered vocal troubles.

"They were just so encouraging and basically told me to get over it," Twain said on GMA. "[They said] 'Get back on the microphone. You can do it.' And they were right."
