Kate Middleton might be giving birth to the royal baby any day now. The burning question many people have is how the Duchess of Cambridge will drop the baby weight. It doesn't seem like the royal mother-to-be has gained that much weight while pregnant but Look magazine is reporting that Pippa Middleton is eager to help her sister get back in shape after giving birth.
The two are known to be close and according to the magazine Pippa has created a "special post-baby fitness regime." The first thing she wants her sister to do after having the baby is to wear a "baby wrap" or a girdle. The 29-year-old, who will be in the delivery room with Kate, thinks the girdle will help her keep her stomach toned. According to the Daily Mail, Pippa thinks this is the best way for her sister to get back in shape. A lot of other famous moms have talked about using girdles to flatten out their post-baby belly including Jessica Alba, Kourtney Kardashian, Angelina Jolie, Bethany Frankel and Gwen Stefani.
In an April interview with digital magazine The Edit, Jessica Alba admitted that wearing a girdle was painful.
"It was brutal, it's not for everyone," Alba told the magazine. "I wore a double corset day and night for three months. It was sweaty, but worth it. It's spandex and Velcro."
Kourtney Kardashian loves the girdle so much that she designed a limited edition Belly Bandit.
"One of the first things my friends with kids told me when I got pregnant was 'buy a Belly Bandit!'" she told In Touch Magazine. "It helps tighten and shrink your belly after giving birth. It also totally helped support my back."
The Daily Mail reports that with only six days left until the reported royal baby due date, the couple either have not chosen a name for the baby or will not announce it until after the baby is born. Preparations have already begun as the anticipation of the baby mounts. Last Friday, a privately chartered helicopter landed next to the couple's home in Wales and will remain there until Kate goes into labor.
