Chris Brown Charged With Criminal Hit-And-Run, Denies Allegations On Twitter

Chris Brown's pile of indictments grows ever higher.

On Tuesday, the Los Angeles City Attorney charged the 24-year-old singer with criminal hit-and-run, after an incident in May.

Brown reportedly hit the rear end of a Mercedes Benz last month while driving with a legitimate license, CBS reported on Tuesday.

The singer also denied handing over his information to the other driver, in addition to supplying false insurance paperwork before he left the scene.

Brown now faces six months in jail for every offense, and could receive up to a year of jailtime if the misdemeanor charges go through.

The "Fine China" singer got into a minor accident on May 21, with "medium" damage done to the other vehicle involved in the scuffle.

According to CNN, Brown's representatives did not respond for a comment. But Chris Brown himself took to Twitter, waving away all allegations, even changing his profile picture and cover photo to pictures of him and girlfriend Karrueche Tran checking out the situation on the Mercedes' bumper.

He then published a slew of Tweets, angrily going against what he calls are rumors.

Brown then went on to say that he has "made mistakes in the past and [has] worked hard to be a better person," demanding that the public, "Let me live."
