Despite all the allegations and negative press, Amanda Bynes firmly believes she's a hero.
According E! News, the actress believes she's a hero because she has dealt with a birth defect for the past 27 years. The birth defect being the webbing between her eyes and the actress claims she will go under the knife to correct it.
"I was born with a webbing in between my eyes," Bynes said in a tweet. "That was a birth defect that I had surgically removed! I've never been more excited! Now I need a few more surgeries to shave the bridge down to correct the rest of my nose so I can start the next chapter of my career! Music!"
"I consider myself to be a hero to have suffered 27 years with a birth defect and to just now have it surgically removed!" The 27-year old actress pats herself on the back for what she has done. "I had to share my story with you so the media would stop using old photos of me and stop writing lies about me having odd behavior when I was just embarrassed to share the fact that I had a birth defect. As soon as I had it removed I couldn't wait to talk about it"
Bynes said she's scheduled to go under the knife on Saturday and compares the webbing between her eyes to children who have had cleft lips. The actress proclaims that "surgery is a complete miracle" and "there's a surgery for everything that's wrong with you!"
The actress has displayed erratic behavior over the past couple of months and has gotten into twitter rants with various celebrities including Jenny McCarthy, Rihanna, Lance Bass and Dr. Drew.
