Josh Hutcherson Dishes On Upcoming "Hunger Games" Sequel

Following the success of "The Hunger Games," actor Josh Hutcherson revealed some new details for the upcoming sequel "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire."

According to E! News, when the actor sat down with Ryan Seacrest on his morning show, he dished on some new details about the film set to be released later this year. "On this movie, the story kind of opens up a lot," the actor said. "I think there's a lot more interesting plots that start to develop and everything thickens. We up the overall feel of the movie."

Hutcherson continues on what fans should expect in the sequel but they "kept the same idea of the first, with the whole world, but we bumped it up a bit and made it more immersive, but it's really great. We stay true to the book as always."

The sequel will include a few new cast members including Philip Seymour Hoffman, Alan Ritchson and many more. Hutcherson adds, "it was pretty incredible to work with all these guys."

The 21-year old actor plays Peeta in the film series and said that the audience should be "be very satisfied with the relationship" between Hutcherson's character and Katniss, played by Jennifer Lawrence.

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" hits theaters on November 22.

According to Entertainment Weekly, while Hutcherson is working on "The Hunger Games" trilogy, he is lined up to take the role in a film entitled "Ape." The movie is a psychological thriller and Hutcherson will partake in producing the film in addition to starring in it.
