There are quite a few changes coming to "Fashion Police" when it returns next year. The E! show has been on a hiatus following Joan Rivers' death in September but kicks off in January with new episodes and new co-hosts.

E! Online announced on Monday (Dec. 1) that Kathy Griffin will replace the late Rivers as lead host of the show. She'll join returning hosts Giuliana Rancic and Kelly Osbourne. George Kotsiopoulos won't be returning and instead was replaced by Brad Goreski ("It's a Brad Brad World").

The new season of "Fashion Police" will have 17 episodes and kicks off Jan. 12 with coverage of the Golden Globes.

"Not only was Joan a trailblazer, she was also a dear friend and mentor to Kathy, who will no doubt continue her legacy and do the series justice by bringing her own unique comedic style and tell-it-like-it-is personality to host the chair," said Jeff Olde, executive Vice President, Programming and Development at E!.

"Plus, the addition of trendsetting stylist Brad completes the panel as the show begins its next chapter, which will focus on covering the major award shows and fashion events throughout the year," he added.

"Kathy just feels right, and Brad brings a fun, new voice to join Giuliana and Kelly in this ensemble," Melissa Rivers told E!. "I'm excited to see where this panel takes this series my mother so adored in this next incarnation."

Griffin told E! that she has no plans to hold back when critiquing celebrities red carpet style and warned celebrities that she's "taking no prisoners."

"I get it! These are some big shoes I'm going to fill. Joan was truly one of a kind. Now I hope you will accept me for me. I'm just Kathy," she told E! Online. "Did I say I'm just Kathy? I meant I'm Kathy F**king Griffin and you celebrities better strap yourself in, as I am taking no prisoners. I am not holding back so DAMMIT let's have some fun!"

The network did not say why Kotsiopoulos isn't returning but it's been rumored for weeks that he wasn't returning for the new season.
