Forza Motorsports 5 Release Date: Racing Game Coming in June 2013, Signals the 'End of A.I.'

Turn 10 Studios Creative Director Dan Greenwalt presented “Forza Motorsports 5” at E3 Monday. This game, according to Greenwalt, will signal the “end of AI.”

The new “Forza Motorsports” incorporates the “power of the cloud,” according to a press release found on Gamasutra.com.

As you play the game, your racing style is uploaded to the cloud. The way you take turns, whether you are aggressive or play it safe, and how fast you go determines how your “Drivatar” will drive. The Drivatar uses the information from the cloud and can even race when you are not around.

Also, since this new technology is for every gamer that plays “Forza Motorsports 5,” the driving styles of the other racers will be like real people, and not like cars driven by artificial intelligence .

According to the press release, the new game will look as real as possible. When your car hits something the dents and scratches will look authentic. If you crash, your car will look like a genuine wreck.

Also, while you’re racing the game adds as much of a real-world feeling as possible. The streets will be lined with actual people cheering that will make you feel like you’re in a “Fast & Furious” movie—which is as close to a “Fast & Furious” movie as many of us will get.

If the authentic fans and car damage wasn’t enough, the game also adds “laser-scanned” tracks.

“Drive the world’s most legendary race circuits and exotic road courses, captured with millimeter accuracy,” reads the release.

The game will be available in June 2013.
