Jones under-estimated her contractions and the pain increased. The couple arrived at the Northwestern's Prentice Women's Hospital but were unable to find the appropriate entrance.
"We passed it two or three times," Jones said. "It pops like a balloon, I kid you not. I felt her slip down the birth canal."
The couple's daughter, Mariah Faith Ross, was born at 6-pounds, 8-ounces.
"She's going to give me a run for the money. She made a grand entrance," Jones said. There have been no reports of the baby or the mother experiencing any health complications.
With the her other children looking on, Fox News reports that Jones said her children "now know for sure where babies come from."
Giving birth outside of a hospital, like Jones, is a suggested birth plan for mothers who wish to have an orgasmic birth. An orgasmic birth is reportedly taboo in the medical field but Elana Skoko, a vocalist and author of "Memories of a Singing Birth" was pleased to experience pleasure, not pain, during her birth.
"It was fun because I could laugh through it," she said.
