“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” cast member Holly Hunter teases fans about sharing the screen with Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill.

The actress spoke to The Wall Street Journal about the production, which was directed by Zack Snyder. Hunter claimed Snyder was the perfect person to direct “Batman vs. Superman” because of the sheer chaotic environment it created.

“It was really fun to be part of a giant, massive piece of machinery, headed up by Zack Snyder, who is thoroughly at home in that uber mega environment. Most people would have a nervous breakdown with that kind of pressure, and he’s enthralled,” Hunter said.

The actress explained she joined the production because Snyder offered her the role. Hunter thought it would be fun to do a superhero movie and enjoyed her time on set, especially seeing Superman and Batman interact.

“I have scenes with Superman. He looks phenomenal. And to see Ben [Affleck, who plays Batman] and Henry [Cavill, who plays Superman] together is quite formidable. They are massive hunks of masculinity,” she said.

Hunter was asked to dish more information about “Batman vs. Superman”, but joked something would happen to her children if she revealed any more details. However, the actress’ comments echo what producer Charles Roven had to say about Affleck.

During an interview for “The Hollywood Masters” series at Loyola Marymount School of Film, Roven explained the production wanted to cast someone who looked like they could intimidate Superman in a fight.

"He was the first guy we went to, that's who we wanted,” Roven said. “We knew that we wanted a very mature Batman, because we wanted to juxtapose him with this very young Superman.

“So we wanted a guy, who was tougher, rugged, who had signs of life, who had lived a hard life, and we wanted the guy to have chops for sure. So when we went down that list, there just weren't a tremendous number of guys who could carry that. We also wanted a guy with big stature. Ben is 6-4. Henry [Cavill] is a 6-1.”

“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is slated to hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
