Taylor Swift has her own rules when it comes to romance. In the new edition of Cosmopolitan she reveals what she is looking for from a relationship.
"I need that unexplainable spark... I just need to see someone and feel, "Oh, no, uh-oh,'" she told the magazine, via MTV. "It's only happened a few times in my life, but I feel like if I was gonna be with someone forever, it would be because I saw them and I thought, 'Oh, no.'"
Swift was reportedly dating at least five high profile guys in the recent years. She recently broke up with boyfriend Conor Kennedy, son of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
She admitted that the point of realization in her relationships came and she did the right thing then.
"I've learned when to get out. I've never wasted too much time with the wrong person, and that's one thing I'm proud of," Swift admitted. "I can't deal with someone wanting to take a relationship backward or needing space or cheating on you. It's a conscious thing. It's a common-sense thing. I just don't ever want to end up in a relationship that isn't fair, ever again."
Swift also avoids anybody who doesn't take her seriously because she is not the type to play games.
"I think a lot of times when you meet someone you feel like you need to appear like you're not interested in them so that they'll be more interested in you.
"But what happens when you start showing him that you actually like him?" she asked. "What's he gonna do then? Play the tape forward; how do you keep a guy like that? I don't want to sign up for that."
After being through some hard times with her romantic life and so many break-ups in past, Swift still waits for the right one. She also expresses her desire to have lot of kids.
"Being a mom full time, doing everything for my kids, having a bunch of them. One day, I'm sure," Swift told Cosmo. "But that's the only other thing that could be as thrilling for me as doing this."
