With Apple's World Wide Developer's Conference a mere four days away, insiders are beginning to narrow down their speculations for what the company will unveil. Rumors have been wide ranging and have included: iPhone 5s and iPhone 6, the iOS 7 and New Macbook Pro software.
Now it seems 9to5Mac has come out with its latest prediction and this one seems like one of the more likely ones. According to tech site, the most likely candidate to get the spotlight at the World Wide Developer's Conference is the Macbook Air notebook according to an unnamed source.
"Today, we have received specific pricing for the aforementioned SKUs, and the price-points correspond to Apple's current pricing for the 11-inch and 13-inch MacBook Air models," 9to5Mac writer Mark Gurman writes. "We have yet to receive pricing information that points to the imminent availability of new MacBook Pros (as some had hoped), but perhaps the next refresh to Apple's Pro portables will arrive in the coming months. Supply constraints to the Retina MacBook Pro line seems to imply that."
According to the LA Times, the MacBook Air is reported to be coming out with a new, faster Wi-Fi chip that will allow the notebooks to download files more quickly and improve high-definition movie streaming on the small portable device.
In addition, the MacBok Air's refresh may also include a new Haswell chipset by Intel. The new chipset would improve the device's battery life of the Macbook Air and other Apple devices.
People who are tired of waiting and speculating about what Apple Inc. will unveil at the World Wide Developer's Conference don't have to wait too much longer.
The keynote speech is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday morning. After that, fans of Apple products will know for sure what the latest device from the company will be and can prepare their tech needs accordingly. Until then, fans will have to just wait out the next four days.
