On a day meant for celebration, friends and family are still coping with the loss of actor Paul Walker.

The actor's 15-year-old daughter Meadow Walker celebrated her father's 41st birthday by posting a touching photo on Instagram of herself as a young child being held by her father and captioned the picture, "Happy birthday, I love you."

Before his death, Meadow had relocated from Hawaii, where she lived with her mother, to L.A. to live with Walker. In February, reports noted that the action star had left his entire $25 million estate to his daughter.

The actor and his longtime friend, Roger Rodas, were both killed on Nov. 30 in a Santa Clarita, Calif., car crash, while participating in a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide

"Today, like every day, the team at Reach Out Worldwide is working hard to continue Paul Walker's dream and honor his legacy," J.D. Dorfman, director of operations for Reach Out Worldwide, said in a statement. "We are eternally grateful for the continued support we receive that allows us to do what we do best - help others in their time of need. Happy Birthday Paul, we miss you."

At the time of his death, Walker was in the midst of filming the seventh installment of the "Fast and Furious" franchise.

Walker's brother, Cody Walker, wrote a Happy Birthday message to him on Facebook. His younger brothers, Cody and Caleb, have filled in as body doubles for their brother in the remaining "Fast and Furious" scenes.

"This day is a bittersweet one," Cody wrote. "Today I'm reminded how much I miss you. But at the same time, this day is also a reminder of how many years of memories, adventures, lessons and love I was lucky enough to share with you. Today is a celebration of all of those years."

He added: "I always knew you were a pretty awesome brother, but these last months have shown me how awesome of an example you were for the entire world. Thank you for always and for continuing to be the best role model a brother could ask for. Happy Birthday, bro. I love and miss you."

Walker's co-star Ludacris also posted a photo of Walker doing charity work, with the caption "Happy Bday to an Angel today."

"#HappyBirthdayPW #ROWW Always in our hearts," Jordana Brewster wrote alongside a picture of a sunrise.

Vin Diesel posted this message and video with Walker on his birthday last year.
