Jason Momoa still won’t confirm he’s picking up a trident in the upcoming “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” production.

The former “Game of Thrones” actor recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about his current projects, including his latest film “Road to Paloma.”

The actor was glad to spill details about the indie movie, which explores issues found on the Native American reservations, but shot down the EW reporter’s attempt to get the “Batman vs. Superman” scoop.

“Well, I’m really excited for it [Batman vs. Superman] to come out in 2016, I’ll tell you that much,” Momoa said in response to whether he’ll play Aquaman in the film. “I’m really excited to see what is happening in that world.”

Momoa is rumored to have landed the role of Aquaman in “Batman vs. Superman” production. Director Zack Snyder fueled the rumors back in August when he called into Detroit's 97.1 radio station to defend the DC character.

"It's not to say that he's in the movie or anything like that," Snyder told the radio hosts. "But he has the potential to be bad ass."

Snyder was not happy Michigan radio station after the hosts Stoney and Bill were making fun of the character. The “Batman vs. Superman” director claimed Aquaman has the strength to cut down the Man of Steel.

"I don't want to give anything away about the movie, but Aquaman has some cool abilities," Snyder said during his radio call. "People are like: ‘Oh, what? Does he talk to animals? Cause that seems like what he does. Or fish?' The cool thing with Aquaman is he's Triton, so you have to realize that [he] could cut the flesh of Superman if they came in contact.

“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is scheduled to hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
