As filming for "White Collar" Season 6 came to an end, an emotional final day was shared by the cast and crew of the USA hit series. Lead actors Matt Bomer and Willie Garson took part in their final day of filming.
After six successful years, "White Collar" is wrapped up and ready for its final season's release date. While there is no official confirmation as to when the series will return, it has been revealed that the last six episodes of the installment will air sometime this Winter.
In an interview with TVLine, Bomer, who plays the role of Neal Caffrey, was emotional about the show's final run, "There's this undercurrent of I don't want to say sadness, but... What's the French word...?
"We're all having a blast working together. It's just like old times like it's always been, but underneath it all, we all know that we're going to have to say goodbye. We're all dreading that moment because we have been such a close-knit unit for six years. So it'll be sad to say goodbye. All good things must come to an end!" he said.
Similarly, Garson took to Twitter with his final message to fans of the show, he wrote, "Our last day together. I don't have words for this, rough rough day for sure. @MattBomer @WhiteCollarUSA."
It is expected that Caffrey, an intelligent and very talented con-artist and FBI informant, will still be dealing with a lot of criminals and his pursuit towards freedom.
Earlier last month, it was revealed that Bomer has come up with a "wild idea" for the show's ending
"I had this wild idea about how the story should end, and I talked to Tim [DeKay] about it and I talked to Willie [Garson] about it and we talked to [series creator] Jeff Eastin," Bomer said to TV Line. "Everybody put their two cents in and were vibing on it. I think we came up with something that's really fun and fitting. When I thought about it, it was really the only way we could end the show. I hope everyone's happy with it."
No details about the "wild end" have been revealed yet but if it's going to be a Caffrey ending, you can expect the show to end in style. "White Collar" Season 6 is the final season. USA Networks has given the team only six episodes to wrap-up the series and give the popular show a proper closure.
Season 5 wrapped-up with the abduction of Neal by an unknown man and Peter deciding to not take-up his new job at Washington, D.C. So fans are eager to see what happens next. According to initials feelers, the final season may open with Peter and Mozzie teaming-up to find Neal's location and the person behind his kidnapping.
