Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Release Date Rumors: Company Confirms June 20 Debut in London (PHOTO)

After announcing Monday that they would be having a major press event in London to debut their new electronics lineup, Samsung has accidentally spilled the beans about their new Galaxy S4 Mini confirming that it will debut on June 20 in London.

The announcement said the press event would focus heavily on the company's Ativ and Galaxy phones and showcase the new lineup of technology and electronics that utilize the Android operating system as well as the relatively new Windows 8 operating system.

However, before the big unveiling later next month, Samsung's U.K. website for its official mobile apps briefly listed the Galaxy S4 Mini with its smartphone lineup. The listing came complete with a photo of the phone and a product number.

Clearly being a mistake that was ahead of the announcement, the listing was promptly taken down. Luckily, tech blog Engadget was able to take a screen-captured image of the listing before it was removed from the U.K. website by Samsung.

The Wall Street Journal later reported that "a person with knowledge of the matter" told them that the phone was likely to debut on June 20 at the press event. This is likely true as the Galaxy S III Mini launched around this time last year following the release of the Galaxy S III. The new Galaxy S4 Mini is rumored to put the 5-inch S4 down to 4.3-inches.

The Galaxy S4 has been a popular seller for Samsung, even taking market share away from rival electronics titan Apple Inc. Since it's flashy debut at New York's Radio City Music Hall, Samsung has said that they've shipped more than ten million units of the phone since late April. According to research from Strategy Analytics, in the January-March quarter, Samsung received its highest share ever of 33 percent, up from 29 percent in the same period the year prior.
