Jason Sudeikis Leaving SNL? "I sincerely Don't Know At This Point'

Over the last few weeks, numerous reports have indicated that Jason Sudeikis will be leaving "Saturday Night Live" following Bill Hader and Fred Armisen's announcement.

Rumors began when cast mate Jay Pharaoh posted a tweet saying "Hader, Armisen & Sudekis the talent of those three and just them as people in general will be missed but we will be strong and carry on," and soon after deleted the tweet.

No word on Armisen's departure, but Sudeikis was on "The View" to address the issue.

"Yeah, well, I mean...You never leave the show," Sudeikis said, who is currently engaged to Olivia Wilde. "You never leave the show, I really believe that. I think these last few weeks have shown that, with [Kristen Wiig] coming back to host, [Mya Rudolph's] been back."

"And then, you know, it never leaves you," the 37-year-old continued. "You take it everywhere. Will I be working there in the fall?"

Longtime journalist and "View" co-host asked him, "That's what I'm asking" to which Sudeikis responded with "I don't know. I sincerely don't know at this point."

The comedian did offer something else when Walters said she hoped he would stay for another season, "I appreciate that, thank you very much. Likewise! If you stay, I'll stay, how about that?"

Many are reported to be worried over the recent departures. Back in 2010, the late night sketch comedy show lost Will Forte and last year, they lost two veterans, Kristen Wiig and Andy Samberg.

Most recently, Hader announced his departure and Seth Myers will be leaving the show next year when he takes over for Jimmy Fallon on "Late Night" in February 2014.
