Paris Hilton Can't Get Enough of That Cash Money, Reportedly Signs Record Deal With the Label

Paris Hilton's entire celebrity was birthed from money. Cash is how the sultry blonde entered in to fame, as an heiress to the Hilton hotel franchise.

Well Hilton has just added more cash to her future, signing with Cash Money records, MTV reports. The label that's been home to Nicki Minaj, Drake and Lil' Wayne, has now extended an invite to Hilton to join their group.

Hilton said she hopes to have a new album out by the summer, featuring Afrojak and Weezy, according to Showbiz 411. Cash Money confirmed to MTV that Hilton has signed with them, while a representative for Hilton told the network that she is in negotiations with multiple record companies regarding a deal.

But Hilton has been consistently working with Cash Money artists, including releasing a single with Lil' Wayne last year. She appeared in the video for Rich Gang's song "Tapout" with Lil' Wayne and Nicki Minaj. The hotel heiress released a self-titled album in 2006, but told MTV the new album will contain more house music than her first release.

The controversial Hilton released a sex tape in 2006, boosting her fame level before launching her reality television series with Nicole Richie, "The Simple Life." But Hilton told MTV last summer that she is very musically oriented, and music is more her "thing."

Hilton has signed her name to numerous business endeavors including shoe, handbag and fragrance marketing. She not only earns millions from her products, but also in talent fees for making club and event appearances.
