The "Bachelor" community is still shocked over the unexpected death of Eric Hill, who appeared on Andi Dorfman's season of the "Bachelorette." Hill was killed in a paragliding accident on Apr. 23, after he had already left the show.

Hill's sister Karen Tracy recently told Life & Style magazine that following the death, Dorfman sent a touching letter to the family.

"Andi sent us a very thoughtful letter, all about her memories of Eric and their first date together," Tracy told the magazine.

According to In Touch, Tracy also said that a lot of the contestants and producers from the show came to Hill's funeral in Utah.

"Eric said he enjoyed getting to know some really fun, amazing people... and he really felt bad that he made Andi cry," his sister told Life & Style.

During the June 2 episode Dorfman and Hill got into a heated argument after he told the Atlanta native that she was acting like an "actress" with a "poker face" instead of showing her true emotions. Dorfman took the comment personally and started to cry.

They both decided that it was best for Hill to leave the show before the elimination rose ceremony. ABC ended that episode by showing a conversation Dorfman and host Chris Harrison had about Hill being on the show.

"It's devastating to even talk about it," Dorfman said. "This season's dedicated to him - we all remember him. It changed me in so many ways. To lose someone puts everything in perspective. It's tough, saying we lost a family member."

Tracy told Life & Style that she thinks the show "handled the situation the best they could, and I'm fine with it."

Dorfman also opened up about Hill's death to People magazine saying, "And I had just seen him. He was a member of our cast and we had an inherent bond. The [other contestants] shared that bond too. It was shocking and devastating to all of us and it's still a tough thing that we're going through."
