Three burglars dressed in ninja gear were arrested after trying to rob a home in Florida on Monday, the New York Daily News reported.
Orange County deputies detained Johnathan Rickadan Contreras, 27, Frank William Bower Jr., 54, and Andres Perez, 44 after the incident, though this isn't the only robbery the trio is supected in; authorities allege they were responsible for a home invasion in Winderemere on April 30, which was caught on camera.
Each suspect was dressed in full black ninja attire and armed with wire cutters, zip ties, and duct tape, according to an arrest report. Additionally, Contreras and Bower had guns.
When police arrived, Contreras and Bower were immediately arrested. However, Perez fled the scene and hid in a neighbor's bushes until a K-9 dog spotted him.
In the Winderemere break-in, three men invaded the home with the same attire and tied up the homeowners. One of the suspects also placed a pillow case over the man's head, though no one was injured.
A report by Winderemere Police said the burglars took off with one of the homeowner's cars, which was later found abandoned, and undeclared valuables.
Contreras was charged with attempted armed burglary with a firearm and mask, possession of burglary tools, and criminal mischief; Bower was charged with attempted armed burglary with a firearm and mask; and Perez was charged with burglary with a mask and resisting without violence.
