Surveillance cameras caught three men dressed as ninjas raid a Florida man's multimillion-dollar home while the homeowner stood tied up watching.
Bill Kitchen, with his hands bound behind his back, watched as the robbers ransacked his Windermere, Florida home on Wednesday, stealing cash and other valuables, the New York Daily News reported. Camera footage also shows Kitchen's partner, Camilo Espinol, sitting with his hands bound and a pillowcase over his head.
"We were asked to produce all money, jewelry and valuables," Kitchen wrote in a description of the incident on Facebook, according to Gawker. "For an hour they ransacked the house."
One of the suspects can be seen wearing Kitchen's fedora on his head during the robbery, which was also stolen.
Kitchen and Espinol were not injured in the robbery that occurred when the "ninjas" caught them off guard in the Lake Butler Boulevard home's carport, WFTV reported.
The robbers bound the homeowners' hands and led them into the house.
Windermere police are currently searching for the black-clad suspects, who escaped in one of the homeowner's cars. It was found abandoned a few miles away near State Road 535 and Lake Butler, the station reported.
The victims were able to call 911 at a neighbor's house once the robbers left.
"Although this is frightening to happen in our community, I believe this to be an isolated incident," Windermere Police Chief David Ogden said in a statement obtained by the Daily News.
The car is currently being processed by the forensics unit of the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
Kitchen, a self described "urban bush pilot," is the founder of U.S. Thrill Rides, which makes amusement park rides, Gawker reported. Espinol is a wind-surfing instructor.
