The new look for newest take on Superman has been revealed.
Director James Gunn posted a photo of actor David Corenswet in the Superman outfit on Threads.
"Get Ready. Superman 7.11.25," he captioned the photo.
Filming of the superhero franchise reboot began in February.
Corenswet is in his first leading role in a major Hollywood film.
The photo shows a dirty suit, which Variety claimed implied the Man of Steel would be doing plenty of fighting in the new film.
Gunn said the photo was taken on set by Jess Miglio.
The movie was originally titled "Superman: Legacy" but Gunn revealed on the first day of filming that the title had been cut down to simply Superman.
There have been various reboots of the Superman franchise since Christopher Reeve started as the caped crusader in 1978's Superman the Movie with Margot Kidder.
