"Rust" armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was sentenced on to 18 months in prison for involuntary manslaughter on Monday.

She was convicted for the 2021 fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the Alec Baldwin movie.

Gutierrez-Reed could be seen wiping away tears during victim impact statements, NBC News reported.

Prosecutors accused Gutierrez-Reed of of an "astonishing lack of diligence" for unknowingly bringing live ammunition onto the set outside Santa Fe, New Mexico, and failing to check what she thought were "dummy" rounds loaded into the production's prop guns.

"This was a game of Russian roulette every time an actor had a gun with dummies," prosecutor Kari Morrissey said during closing arguments.

The judge gave her the maxium allowed for the felony conviction.

Her attorneys had asked for probation.

Baldwin, who was movie's lead actor and co-producer, has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter and is scheduled for trial in July.
