Two women streaming on TikTok as they searched for missing college student Riley Strain were the ones who found his debit card near the Cumberland River in Nashville.

Anna Clendening, a musician, and Brandy Baenen, an artist, told the local Fox station they're passionate about helping bring Strain home.

They were livestreaming their search along the riverbank when one of them came across his bank card among the rocks.

"S-. I found his credit card," one of them said.

The other asked, "You found his credit card?"

They then announced on the livestream, "We found his credit card. We gotta go. We gotta hang up the phone."

Chris Dingman, a family friend confirmed Strain's card was found Sunday.

Several police officers with canines near the area and picked up the search.

While the discovery has left Strain's family with "a thousand more questions than answers," Dingman said they were grateful for the TikTok users who made the invaluable discovery.

"These young ladies literally went out and made sure that the family was OK with what was going on beforehand," Dingman said.

Strain was visiting Nashville with some of his University of Missouri fraternity brothers. He was kicked out of country star Luke Bryan's bar, Luke's 32 Bridge on March 8.

He told his friends he would meet them back at the hotel but never showed up.

His path through the city was documented by security cameras but he then disappeared and has not been seen since.
