Dr. Kevin O'Connor, President Joe Biden's physician, conducted his annual physical and concluded the elder statesman is a "healthy, active, robust, 81-year-old male who remains fit to successfully execute the duties of the presidency."

US President Joe Biden eats an ice cream at Honey Hut Ice Cream in Cleveland, Ohio, on May 27, 2021.

O'Connor revealed that the president is adjusting well to a new device that helps control his sleep apnea and has experienced some hip discomfort but also works out five times per week.

The Doctor said in a six-page memo on the president's health following a physical that took Biden to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for more than 2 1/2 hours.

His memo added that Biden "feels well, and this year's physical identifies no new concerns."

The Associated Press noted Biden would be 86 by the end of a second term, should he win one, making him the oldest president in U.S. history.

His latest physical was interestingly identical to his previous one from February last year when O'Connor described Biden as "healthy, vigorous" and "fit" to handle his White House duties.

Biden has been heavily scrutinized in the media following public instances of memory loss, gaffes, extended coughing, slow walking, and a recent fall off his bike.

Voters remain hesitant and rightfully concerned over his mental well-being should he be reelected, especially given his presidential handlings as of late.

The Real Deal or Delusion?

Returning to The White House on Sunday, Biden attended an event combatting crime and doubled down on the fabrication that "everything is squared away" and "there is nothing different than last year."

He even managed to crack a flat joke about his age and said people think, "I look too young."

O'Connor's report disclosed Biden's stiff walking was no worse than last year and was most likely the result of arthritic changes in his spine.

He said the president mentioned "some increased left hip discomfort". However, there are no signs of stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's or other similar conditions in what the report called an "extremely detailed neurologic exam."

A recent special counsel's report on the investigation into Biden's handling of classified documents does nothing to help his reelection campaign, as it repeatedly disapproved of Biden's memory, calling it "hazy," "fuzzy," "faulty," "poor" and having "significant limitations." It also acknowledged times when Biden could not recall defining milestones in life, such as when his son Beau died or when he served as vice president.

Addressing the report's release in an impromptu press conference, Biden said, "My memory is fine" and grew considerably angry as he maintained he did not forget when his son died of brain cancer in 2015.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told the AP that O'Connor was one of a team of 20 medical specialists who helped complete what should have been a simple physical to declare a clean bill of health.

When asked why Biden wasn't undergoing a cognitive test as part of the physical, Jean-Pierre insisted Dr. O'Connor and Biden's neurologist "don't believe he needs one."
