Travis Kelce has firmly established himself as one of the greatest tight ends in history. However, as his time in football comes to a close, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end may be considering preparing for a new phase.

Kelce's representatives are reportedly exploring various entertainment opportunities, including movie roles, unscripted shows, comedy gigs, and product endorsements.

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - FEBRUARY 11: Travis Kelce #87 of the Kansas City Chiefs looks on before Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium on February 11, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Moreover, filmmakers traveled to Kansas City during the Chiefs' season to discuss with Travis Kelce the possibility of creating a reality show with him as the main star, as reported by The Wrap.

Kelce has been quite open about his enthusiasm for the entertainment industry. In 2023, he had the opportunity to host 'Saturday Night Live' and also headlined his own reality dating TV show, 'Catching Kelce,' back in 2016.

According to his co-managers, he has the potential to reach the same level of fame as Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, the well-known athlete-turned-actor.Travis Kelce's popularity skyrocketed last year for reasons that had nothing to do with his performance on the field or his efforts to branch out as an entertainer.

He started dating the famous singer and 14-time Grammy Award-winner Taylor Swift, which garnered as much attention, if not more, than his performance on the field while winning his third Super Bowl.

Before achieving increased popularity in the 2023 season, Kelce joined CAA in May of last year, with different agents for non-scripted TV, movies, and comedy, as reported by The Wrap.

However, Kelce is also exploring producing projects. He received his initial executive producer credit on a movie called 'My Dead Friend Zoe,' set to debut at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas in March. This movie's storyline aligns with Kelce's taste in comedy, as 'My Dead Friend Zoe' is portrayed as a dark comedic drama involving a US Army veteran, her deceased best friend, and her estranged grandfather.

Ed Harris, Sonequa Martin-Green, and Natalie Morales star in the film and are also credited as executive producers along with Kelce. There is currently no distributor in place for wider release. Travis Kelce has also explored the media industry in recent years.

The 'New Heights' podcast, co-hosted by him and his brother Jason Kelce, has become one of the most popular sports podcasts. The two stars discuss various topics, including ongoing NFL matters.

Although Kelce appears to have several non-football career opportunities on the horizon, it seems he won't be retiring from the game this offseason. Following the Chiefs' Super Bowl victory against the San Francisco 49ers, the 34-year-old confirmed his intention to continue playing in 2024, aiming to make history by securing a third consecutive Super Bowl win for Kansas City.

Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift Relationship

Experts predict a promising future for Kelce in the entertainment industry, contingent on his ongoing relationship with Swift. Although it wasn't part of the original plan, being in a relationship with the world's biggest popstar has been beneficial.

Since Taylor Swift first arrived at Arrowhead in September to watch her new man play for Kansas City against the Chicago Bears, the couple has been making headlines. Ever since, the music megastar has been seen supporting Travis Kelce from the stands at various events, including the recent Super Bowl.

Emphasizing his dedication to football (highlighted by his third Super Bowl victory), Kelce admitted that a significant amount of the spotlight he's currently under is unrelated to the sport. Despite receiving backlash recently, Travis Kelce faced scrutiny for various incidents, such as yelling at and pushing Chiefs head coach Andy Reid during the Super Bowl.

He was supported on stage at their victory parade in Kansas City a few days later during a lively celebration with his teammates. Kelce attempted to lead a spirited rendition of 'Friends In Low Places' but struggled to speak clearly.

Following the unfortunate incident at Union Station during the parade, there was widespread shock and disapproval when Kelce was spotted taking a cheerful selfie before going to a restaurant with his fellow players, as per Daily Mail.
